A Veil That Tells a Love Story Across Two Cities

This veil is a poetic celebration of love that grew across distance—rooted in Kolkata, flourishing in Bangalore, and stitched together by everyday moments that kept two hearts close.

Designed on a dramatic 120-inch flared trail, the storytelling skyline unfolds within a 60-inch illustrated panel, placed gracefully above the ornate border work. The trail becomes a canvas where two cities breathe, live, and quietly speak to each other.

On the right, Kolkata rises in intricate line embroidery—romantic and nostalgic. A horse-drawn carriage nods to timeless charm, while the Howrah Bridge anchors the city’s soul. Moments of joy appear through a boat ride at Princep Ghat, the familiarity of Insignia movie theatre running Jerry Maguire, and the unmistakable spirit of the Hard Rock Café, capturing evenings filled with music, laughter, and memories.

On the left, Bangalore comes alive with modern warmth and everyday dreams. Cubbon Park brings in calm greenery, balanced by an office skyline with RMZ (their office) that speaks of ambition and growth. A home with keys symbolises building a life together, while details like a gym and coffee capture routines, effort, and quiet companionship.

At the heart of the veil, both cities are connected by a gentle curved line, symbolising distance softened by intention. Along this path bloom delicate flowers, visited by a bumblebee, representing patience and persistence. Intimate, modern motifs—a phone with the Instagram logo, a laptop on video call, and two aeroplanes flying toward each city—tell the story of love sustained through screens, schedules, and flights back home.

Every element is intentionally placed—nothing loud, nothing accidental. This veil isn’t just worn; it’s remembered.
